We are AJ and Mila, a Bristol-based couple who believe in celebrating individuality.

Like a lot of people, we grew up feeling a bit different - trying to fit in, rather than leaning into what made us who we are. Over time, that shifted. What once felt like being the “odd one out” became something to embrace. Freak Like Me comes from that place - an appreciation of individuality, character, and the things that make each of us unique.

Everything we create is rooted in that idea of individuality.

Mila is the maker behind the pieces, carefully selecting each stone and working with the leather to bring every bracelet together by hand. AJ is the creative force behind how the brand is seen and felt - shaping the design, the visual identity, and how everything comes to life beyond the product itself.

Our leather and gemstone cuffs are designed to feel personal and be worn your way. Each piece is made using natural stones and carefully selected leather, sourced locally where possible and gemstones, chosen individually from around the world. No two stones are ever the same, and neither are the bracelets we make. Every mark, every variation, is part of the story.

The designs are simple and interchangeable - you can change the stone, swap the strap, and wear it in a way that feels like yours, not something mass-produced. The leather softens and changes over time. The more you wear it, the more it becomes part of you.
