Cirencester Vintage & Artisan Market

Last Sunday, we packed up our leather cuffs, gemstones and plenty of coffee… and headed to the Vintage & Artisan Market in Cirencester.

And what a day it was.

Cirencester has that perfect blend of heritage and independent spirit - the kind of place where people genuinely appreciate craftsmanship. From the moment the market opened, there was a steady flow of vintage lovers, curious browsers, collectors and Sunday wanderers, all ready to explore something a little different.

That’s exactly where Freak Like Me belongs.

We had so many brilliant conversations about the stones - how we source them, why each cabochon is completely unique, and how our interchangeable design lets you build a collection that evolves with you. Watching people try on different leather colours, swapping gemstones to match outfits or moods, holding them up in the light - that never gets old.

Seeing that “this is the one” moment is everything.

It was also wonderful to meet customers who had only ever seen us online. Feeling the quality of the leather, seeing the scale and depth of the gemstones in person - it brings the whole concept to life in a way photos simply can’t.

And then there were the returning faces. That’s the real win. When someone comes back to add another stone to their collection, it tells us we’re building something lasting - not trend-led, not throwaway, but pieces designed to evolve over time.

Sales were strong, the feedback was generous, and the energy throughout the day was genuinely uplifting. Markets like Cirencester remind us why we started Freak Like Me in the first place: individuality, craftsmanship, and celebrating what makes each of us different.

If you stopped by to say hello - thank you.

If you tried one on and are still thinking about it - you know where we are.
